Problem
A publicly traded growth-stage technology company sought to acquire a cross-border transformative asset to expand its audience and strengthen its value proposition to consumers and Fortune 500 clients. It needed help to understand the impact a transaction like this could have, and if successful, how to replicate it.
Action
A financial model and operating plan with revenue synergies, cost structures, and integration costs to project long-term ROI was built, along with an integration roadmap with timelines, performance tracking, and reporting to ensure execution and accountability. The model was seamlessly adopted by teams from C-level executives to directors, earning recognition as an “excellent framework.”
Results
As a result, the acquisition closed successfully. In addition:

Modeling Support for an M&A Team
A PE-backed professional services firm with a small M&A team had over a billion dollars in deal pipeline and was looking for support triaging M&A opportunities. They needed help evaluating M&A targets, getting through the dozen plus deals in the pipeline, extracting salient financial/operating KPIs, and running transaction modeling. Over two months, we built templates and support for new analysts and M&A initiatives, worked on over 50 deals, and set up fund flow models and efficiency measures to unlock highly accelerated deal flow.
