As the Director of Data Science and a member of the Senior Leadership Team for Closetbox I was tasked with managing, developing and implementing all data modelling related systems and projects within the company. The main goal of the Data program was to utilize advanced data modelling techniques to better understand the business, the opportunities, and to make guided decisions based on analytics. Played an integral role in guiding the direction of the business through understanding the customer needs and all facets of the business. Pivotal in realigning the business model to increase profitability and hit record contribution margin in February, March, and April 2018, by maximizing efficiency in marketing spend and creating new direction in the business operations. Developed sophisticated automated routing technology to route all orders to appropriate agents based on expected costs and expected revenues for each order. This technology drove 30% reduction in servicing costs in 3 months. Develop and Manage the Closetbox Algorithmic Pricing and Revenue Management System – This system automatically adjusts pricing based on supply and demand as well as costs and marketing expenditures on a daily basis.
