• Lead an integration between a Carrier Consolidator and a 3PL Provider, resulting in 7-figure savings
• Built a paperwork automation tool for a 3PL Provider, for automating data extraction and entry, speeding up paperwork processing 25x faster
• Consulted with the CTO of a YC-Backed Series C e-commerce startup on a re-org affecting 70 engineers

Engineering Lead -Sr. Software Engineer at Netflix 
Aug 2017  – May 2021

• Oversaw key growth initiatives for Netflix’s push to 200M+ subscribers. This includes: homepage improvements, notifications optimizations, payments testing, and partnership integrations.
• Lead a multi-year re-architecture of Netflix’s notification system and the algorithm behind it. This system sends over 6 billion notifications per month and drove significant incremental revenue.
• Headed several major technical debt reduction initiatives and API optimizations that provided a 4x improvement in developer velocity.

Software Development Engineer at Amazon 
Aug 2014  – Jun 2017

• Designed the architecture for the services behind all parts of the Amazon Dash button, including the UI, registrations, order placements, vendor management, notifications, and Dash 3rd party API’s.
• Scaled the systems behind the Amazon Dash Button to handle the international expansion of the Amazon Dash button from the US to Europe and Japan
• Lead the cloud migration of the “middleware” services powering Kindle devices over to AWS’s EC-2 instances
