Lisa is Principal and Founder of Star HR Consulting, LLC. She brings deep subject matter expertise and a collaborative style to organizations. She partners with leaders throughout the employee life cycle from onboarding to talent development, and succession planning.
Prior to founding the firm, Lisa spent over 25 years in the Human Resources field leading a variety of functions including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation, employee development, human resources systems and human resources services. In her most recent role, she served as head of Global Human Resources Shared Services for Manulife and John Hancock.
Lisa is a Certified Advanced Professional Director of the American College of Corporate Directors and currently serves as a member of the Outreach Committee for the South Shore Conference for Women. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the International Association of Professional Women.
Over the years she has attained her compensation certification from World at Work and her SPHR from the Society for Human Resources Management.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Bridgewater State University. She has served as a mentor for young professionals and served as a service trip leader as part of the Appalachia Service Project.
